Located in Room 350, 601 Booth Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Earth Sciences Information Centre (ESIC) holds Canada's largest collection of books, serials and maps in the earth
sciences. Dating from the early nineteenth century to the present, the holdings
include more than 100 000 monographs, and over 14 000 geoscientific journal
titles. The subject matter includes geochemistry, geochronology, geomorphology,
geodynamics, geomagnetism, mineral resources, mineralogy, paleontology, petrology,
planetology, seismology, solid earth geophysics and tectonics. As well as traditional
print format, the collection includes microforms, videos and digital resources.
Located in Room 121, 615 Booth Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
The Geomatics collection includes works pertaining to Canadian geography, cartography,
geodetic and legal surveying, geographic information systems, Global Positioning
