The "Stereo Advisor" is an interactive Web tool intended to specify a pair of RADARSAT-1 SAR images for use in creating a digital elevation model (DEM) and for improving the extraction of thematic information.

The "Stereo Advisor" was authored by Isabel Cyr and Thierry Toutin. Also by the authors is the article RADARSAT-1 Stereo Advisor on CCRS Web which provides a detailed look at this unit.
