The MINFILE database is available on line as of December 2006 MINFILE
database contains information on 12,300 metallic, industrial mineral and coal
occurrences in the province of British Columbia. The database includes both the formally
released and the unreleased areas. Unreleased areas contain incomplete, unedited, and
sometimes inaccurate data. Refer to the index map for the
released areas.The search results from the MINFILE database can be download by the
