The MINFILE/pc User's Manual and the MINFILE Coding Manual are available free of charge to users of MINFILE/pc.  Further information may be obtained by contacting the MINFILE Geologist.

User's Manual: This manual contains information on installing, operating, using, and customizing the MINFILE program and database files. The appendices contain a DOS primer, code tables, the database structure, help sections and computer memory notes. The MINFILE/pc V. 4.5 User's Manual is available for viewing and has been archived for download from the Web in two formats:
- .htm format (use web browser),  and
- .pdf format (use Adobe Reader).

Coding Manual: Version 4.5 (Information Circular 2004-4) is a guide to data specifications and codes used in MINFILE. This 110-page manual is used by geologists who research and input information into the database. It is available for viewing and has been archived for downloading from the Web in two formats: 
- .htm format (use browser), and
- .pdf format (use Adobe Reader).
