About the program

Program Description

The Canada Wood Export Program (Canada Wood) is a cost-shared program, through which Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking partnerships with wood product associations from across Canada and is working with provinces and industry partners to diversify Canada´s wood products exports to offshore markets. Canada Wood is supporting industry associations in their efforts to work collaboratively overseas and to brand Canada as a preferred and dependable supplier of quality wood products.

Annual Reports

Each year Canada Wood publishes a report outlining its program highlights, strategies, achievements, goals and methods. Under this menu you will find the reports published to date.

Bulletins

The bimonthly Canada Wood Bulletin informs stakeholders of the offshore market development work being done on their behalf by the wood industry associations in partnership with the Government of Canada.

Mid-Term Review

Earnscliffe Research and Communications presented the following report of research findings, providing a mid-term review of the Canada Wood Export Program (Canada Wood) to the Canadian Forest Service, Natural Resources Canada.
