Abstract:

Objectives:
To hold an expert workshop that will bring together scientists and forest practitioners from across Canada to provide papers and information that details and ranks various intensive forest management treatments by tree species in relation to allowable cut effect. To produce and distribute a comprehensive document detailing the above workshop information.

Key Deliverables:
Production of document titled "Expert Workshop on the Impact of Intensive Forest Management on Allowable Cut"

Expected Benefits:
The workshop information report will greatly assist forest managers and planners to better understand the Allowable Cut Effect and Intensive Forest Management. It will lead to more accurate predictions of the results of implementation of various IFM practices in the field.
