Abstract:

Objectives:
To develop and demonstrate a better understanding of how and when to target vegetation management efforts to maximize white pine production and quality.

Location:
North Bay District

Reports (journal and technical report versions)- Temporal and Spatial Effects of Woody and Herbaceous Vegetation on Early Establishment and Growth of White Pine: Part I: Implications for Shelterwood Management; Part II: Implications for Restoration on Clearcut Sites. Report- Temporal and Spatial Effects of Woody and Herbaceous Competition on the Ecophysiology of White Pine.
