Training and Awareness for Existing Buildings

Knowledge and information help your employees obtain maximum savings from your organization's energy plan, and the Energy Innovators Initiative (EII) can help.

Awareness Publications

The EII has produced a document called A Guide to Implementing an Energy Efficiency Awareness Program. Although written for manufacturing facilities, you might find useful information in the Toolkit for Your Industrial Employee Awareness Program. You can also raise awareness with your employees and stakeholders when you celebrate your success.

Workshops

Dollars to $ense is a series of one-day workshops that provide information on finding and realizing energy savings. Held in cities across Canada, the three workshops are "Spot the Energy Savings Opportunities," "Energy Monitoring and Tracking" and the "Energy Master Plan.". The EII sometimes helps arrange customized workshops for the various commercial and institutional sectors.

ERA Clinics

From time to time, the EII holds clinics in selected cities to inform eligible clients and service providers how to apply for Energy Retrofit Assistance (ERA) funding.
