S&T FrontLiners is a bilingual, interactive website, blog, and webcast that illustrates the rewarding, diverse, and interesting careers and employees working in science and technology related fields of Natural Resources Canada.

Each day during NSTW, our FrontLiners will post a new blog (journal entry), providing “day-in-the-life” insight into their everyday tasks, important projects, and professional accomplishments. Students can also look at pictures, view video footage, and learn about the scientific research going on in Atlantic Canada. At the end of NSTW, they can participate in the live webcast with our FrontLiners.

By registering for the webcast early, schools may win an official S&T FrontLiners Party Box: full of prizes, posters, and party supplies to host your own mini NSTW celebration!* In addition, interested teachers can receive a free Teacher’s Kit that includes: posters, fact sheets, activities and quizzes, and information on how to participate in the website and webcast event.

Important Dates:

Deadline for Webcast Registration: September 30th
Website Launch: October 13th
Live Webcast: October 20th

S&T FrontLiners is recommended for teachers/schools reaching Grade 7 level students or higher.
