Welcome to DFO's Sustainable Development web page
The new Sustainable Development Strategy of Fisheries and Oceans Canada
for 2001-2003 is accessible here. The updated Strategy was tabled in
Parliament in February 2001 and is now guiding work in the Department
toward sustainable development in Canada.
Some of you may have helped us to develop the Strategy by providing comments during 2000. We would welcome your comments on the new Strategy as we move forward with implementation.
