PhotoThe Canadian Forest Service (CFS) conducts research in forest management, forest protection and forest renewal. Through five research centres and in collaborative ventures, the CFS plays a leading role in Canada and abroad at the frontiers of forest science and technology development which shapes the understanding and management of the resource for the benefit of all Canadians. Technology transfer and commercialization are an integral part of the CFS mandate.
