GSC Quebec

GSC-Quebec is one of the four divisions of the Central and Northern Canada Branch of the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC). It focuses its activities in Eastern Canada, emphasizing regional surveys of bedrock and surficial formations, thus providing the necessary framework for studies of resources (groundwater, minerals and fossil fuels) and the environment (natural hazards, environmental geodynamics, climate change and human health).

The activities, staff, facilities and services of GSC-Quebec contribute to the priorities of the Earth Sciences Sector.
