Natural Resources Canada’s Canadian Forest Service is planning to launch a Forest Communities Program in April of 2007. This new program will appeal to local organizations across Canada interested in assisting resource-based communities in the development of innovative approaches to meet the challenges of forest sector transition and forest resource sustainability.
