EXTECH IV: Athabasca Uranium multidisciplinary study High Resolution Seismic Reflection Surveys
Sub-project leaders:
Dr. Don White, Geological Survey of Canada
Zoltan Hajnal, University of Saskatchewan
A key component of EXTECH will be a high resolution seismic line, that crosses the McArthur River deposit, and two subparallel flanking lines.
Purposes:
- further understand the environment of emplacement of deposits;
- demonstrate and optimize the methods for direct orebody detection using seismic reflection methods.
