Ice-Core Expedition 2001
Daily Report - May 25th 2001

At King Col, the intermediate site at elevation 4100 metres, air samples were taken by the ICE2001 team.

At Quintino Sella, yesterday's snow samples were melted and a small portion of the water each put into sealed bottles for subsequent analysis at the Geological Survey of Canada in Ottawa and the National Institute for Polar Research in Tokyo.

The crew for the high drill camp is on the move and will spend the night at the high drill site around 5300 metre destination.
