Crevasses are a hazard of climbing around the Logan massif but have not proven a problem to the experienced mountaineers of ICE2001. |
This was yet another day when some of the work of ICE2001 was on hold, as everyone waited to see if the weather, good in some places but not everywhere, would improve during the morning. Logan, in its imperious manner, decided to make things difficult and the weather deteriorated as the day continued. So the teams at Prospector-Russell Col, at King Col and on the Quintino Sella Glacier waited it out, hoping for better conditions on Tuesday.
