Ice-Core Expedition 2001
Daily Report - May 7th 2001

There is less wind today at Kluane, but the clouds remain low on the mountains, despite an occasional tantalizing patch of blue sky. Weather updates tell the team that the atmospheric low remains in the Gulf of Alaska although there is a chance that a high pressure system will move up from the south within 48 hours. Meanwhile, everyone waits.
