Volcanoes of Canada Volcanoes on the Internet
The Internet is a valuable tool and aide for people interested
in volcanoes and volcanic eruptions. Many governments
and groups of scientists maintain Web pages presenting
information about well studied volcanoes. Several volcano
observatory home pages are updated with current information
about volcanic activity around the world, including
centres at the University of North Dakota, the Cascade
Volcano Observatory, the Alaska Volcano Observatory,
the Hawaii Volcano Observatory, the Montserrat Volcano
Observatory and the Nordic Institute (in Iceland).
Below is a selected listing of volcano-related websites which
we have found reliable and very useful. They can form
an excellent starting point for volcano research on
the web.
