MIRAGE - Geoscience map images
The GSC has published thousands of maps since the mid-1800's. More than 7000 of these maps have been scanned and are available through the MIRAGE site.
Digital Geoscience Maps
The Geological Survey of Canada has published about 400 maps digitally. The geological polygons
for approximately 250 of these maps are currently being made available to find, preview, and
download as .SHP files through this map search tool.
Note that the Geological Survey of Canada does not publish topographic maps.
Topographic maps (and other map products)
are available from other parts of the Earth Sciences Sector.
