Outdoor Equipment Rentals

Not fully equipped to enjoy the many activities in Gatineau Park? Don't worry! You can rent boats, mountain bikes and snowshoes at rental booths. Nothing could be simpler.

Check the hours of each rental booth by calling (819) 827-2020. Then simply stop by when you arrive at the Park. Deposits will be applied to your credit card.

Boat Rentals

Philippe Lake: canoes, rowboats, kayaks (single and double) and pedal boats

Boat rentals include two paddles and two life jackets. Extra life jackets and paddles cost $1 per hour or $3 per day.

Mountain Bike and Bike-Trailer Rentals

Available at the Philippe Lake campground general store. Rentals include helmets and locks.

Snowshoe Rentals at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre

In winter, you can rent snowshoes at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre for $5 per hour or $15 per day. Children's snowshoes: $3 per hour or $10 per day. You can also rent a baby glider for $20 per day or luggage glider for $15 per day. The gliders can be reserved by calling the Visitor Centre at (819) 827-2020 (driver's licence and credit card required; deposit will be applied to your credit card).
