Picnic in Gatineau ParkNo matter what you do, it's always a good idea to escape to nature to recharge your batteries. Why not organize one of those impromptu activities that the whole family will love? Pack a nourishing snack and head for one of Gatineau Park's 15 picnic areas.

Enjoy the view from Étienne-Brûlé Lookout, delight in the wooded peace of the Penguin Picnic Area or relax on the shores of Philippe or La Pêche lakes.

*Domestic animals are not permitted in picnic areas.

*Equipped with barbecues.
** Motorized-vehicle access fees are in effect from mid-June to mid-September . (Other picnic areas are free and accessible from mid-May to the first snowfall.)

Planning a Group Picnic?

We strongly urge you to notify the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre of your visit at (819) 827-2020, so that you may enjoy all the services available (snack bar, swimming, etc.). Please note, however, that the picnic area cannot be reserved exclusively for one group.
