Dire consequences of the war on global food, energy and financial markets threaten to devastate a world economy already battered by COVID-19 and climate change.
Preliminary analysis by the UN Global Crisis Response Group suggests that as many as 1.7 billion people in 107 economies are exposed to at least one of the three risks, mostly in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
