Mining and Mineral Sciences Laboratories - certification
The CANMET-MMSL
quality system was officially registered to ISO 9002 by the Quality
Management Institute on October 16, 2000. CANMET-MMSL is the first
research unit at the full division level as well as the first with
multiple sites in Natural Resources Canada to achieve registration.
CANMET-MMSL upgraded its quality system to ISO 9001:2000 in December
2003. The ISO 9001:2000 registration banner that graces all CANMET-MMSL
sites serves as a source of pride to employees as well as an indicator
to clients of our commitment to quality. Registration of the ISO
9001:2000 CANMET-MMSL quality system is an important step on the
road to continuous improvement.
