Ingenta is a searchable database of over 11 million citations from more than 26,000 journals, with coverage from 1988.

The Earth Sciences Sector (ESS) Photo Database contains more than 5500 digital images, scanned from the Geological Survey of Canada photo collection. The database will continue to incorporate more images from the over 520,000 images that constitute the photo collection. The photo collection has images dating from the 1860's and covers topics in geoscience, geography, flora, fauna and ethnography.

RESORS is a bibliographic database on remote sensing including instrumentation, techniques and applications of remote sensing, photogrammetry, image analysis and G.I.S. It contains titles, authors, publishers and keywords for most of the world's literature published in English and French on these subjects from 1969 to 1995. It also contains many unpublished, unclassified documents which Canada Centre for Remote Sensing and RESORS were able to obtain.

ScienceDirect contains the world's largest electronic collection of science, technology and medicine full text and bibliographic information. This database includes online reference works, handbooks and book series in addition to a rich journal collection of over 2,000 titles.
