Volunteers must:

  • have a first-aid certificate (Red Cross or St. John Ambulance)
  • be bilingual
  • be physically fit

Winter

Join the cross-country ski patrol!
If you live near Gatineau Park and love to cross-country ski, then you may be interested in joining a group of 40 patrollers who travel the trails of the Park ensuring the safety of skiers.

As a patroller, you would work one day every two weekends, on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. You would provide trail-condition information to the Visitor Centre, share information with visitors about activities in the Park and help out in case of injury or accident.

Summer

Do you live near Gatineau Park? Are you a fan of hiking or mountain biking? If so, here’s an opportunity for you: join the volunteer patrollers who travel the Park’s trails and look out for hikers and mountain bikers.

Patrollers provide information to visitors on trails and Park activities, and help out in case of injury or accident.
