Selected Biographies:

Randy Brown, creative director at AVH Live Communications, heads up the creative team and overall production. Randy and his AVH Live Communications team have developed some of the most important special events for major corporations throughout North America and Europe.

Dan Legault has been Vice President, Sales for AVH Live Communications since 1998. Over his nearly 20 years of work in the event industry Dan has been Account Director and Executive Producer on hundreds of productions, conferences and events for major corporations from coast to coast and around the world.

Gary Dickens, the President of AVH Live Communications, has managed teams producing complex productions across Canada, and around the world from Indonesia to Orlando, from Zurich to Venice, and from New York to Osaka.

Glenn Morley composed and produced the musical score. Glenn is a multiple Gemini and Genie award winner and the composer and producer of more than 1,200 Canadian film and television scores and many popular recordings.

Theresa Sears and David Switzer developed the creative concept and the script in English. Award-winning theatre artists, Sears and Switzer have written for stage and screen. Their historical musicals The Plays at Queen’s Park ran from 1988 through 2001 at the Ontario Legislative Assembly.

Yves Dufour is the French-language writer on the project. Yves is one of the most sought-after French experts for producing and directing content for the Quebec advertising and broadcast market. He also has a long career directing French performers for radio and television.

Sholem Dolgoy, co-lighting designer, is one of Canada’s most respected theatre and architectural designers, working for many of the nation’s most important cultural institutions including the Shaw Festival, the Royal Ontario Museum, theatres from coast to coast and the National Ballet of Canada.

Howard Ungerleider, co-lighting designer, leads the special effects element of the production. Howard has created the shows for legendary Canadian group Rush for more than 25 years and has designed for many major music shows including Rod Stewart and Van Halen.

Bill Beckton is technical production manager and technical advisor to the show designers. Bill has 25 years of experience mounting large-scale shows and producing many events including the visit of Pope John Paul II and various royal tours, working with major artists such as Mickey Gillie, Parachute Club and Rush, and facilitating ice-skating spectaculars such as “Stars on Ice.”

David Calderisi is one of Canada’s veterans of stage and screen. Originally from Montreal and now based in Toronto, he has built a long career in Canada, Britain and the United States, including hundreds of featured roles in films and major television series, and acclaimed work for theatre companies from coast to coast.

Marie-Hélène Fontaine is a well-known stage performer and has received accolades for her diverse portrayals including her award-winning lead in Le collier d'Hélène by Carole Fréchette. She is one of the stars of the Théâtre français de Toronto.

Stephanie Morgenstern is a bilingual, award-winning actor/filmmaker and two-time Genie nominee. She is well-known for her recurring role on CBC’s This is Wonderland, as well as many other appearances in television series and feature films. On stage, Stephanie has played leading roles for the Stratford Festival and on other stages across Canada. She is also a descendant of the family of George-Étienne Cartier, one of the Fathers of Confederation.

Tristan Harvey has turned his theatre training into a career as one of the fastest-rising voice artists in Montreal, excelling in the demanding world of video games, and dubbing major films such as those produced by Walt Disney and Sony Pictures. He is an expert in many different voice characters and has been selected as the voice of major companies marketing in Quebec and across Canada.

Paul Chaput is an award-winning Métis artist, healer, poet, organizer, filmmaker, narrator and musician from Manitoba and Toronto. Paul is also the Chair of the Métis Artists Collective, and Executive Director of the annual Métis Arts Festival. Paul is a leader in the Restorative Justice movement within the Aboriginal community, and was awarded the Star of Courage by Governor General Romeo LeBlanc in 1995.

Elaine Overholt sings the national anthem. She is one of North America's most respected and treasured singers. Elaine’s career as a solo artist took her around the world singing and recording. She has produced two albums and a Billboard No. 3 single as a solo artist and has sung thousands of jingles. She is also one of the top voice coaches in Canada, having coached the likes of Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere and Queen Latifah.
