Canadian Survey of Value-Added Manufacturing

On this web site you will find three pdf documents, the Value-Added Survey form and two supporting documents to help complete the survey. The supporting documents are:

1. a detailed (not exhaustive) list of output products, and

2. a definition of which products are covered by the countervailing duty, defined as “in-scope” products.

The survey is being conducted by the Canadian Forest Service on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Strong industry cooperation, in the form of responding to this survey, will assist Canada in the softwood lumber dispute with the United States. The results of this survey will be used in defense against the subsidy allegations by the U.S. industry.
