Annual Reporting

Every year, the NCC reports to Parliament as part of its obligation to the taxpayers of Canada, both setting out its intentions and reporting on achievements. In fact, the NCC carries out its obligation to report so clearly and completely that it has won the Auditor General’s Award for Excellence in Annual Reporting three times in only four years (1996–1997, 1998–1999 and 1999–2000).

What’s in the Works?

If you want to find out what the NCC is planning for the next five years, check out the current Summary of the Corporate Plan. For each sector of activity, this document lays out

  • objectives — what the NCC wants to achieve
  • strategies — how the NCC means to achieve its objectives
  • performance targets — how the NCC will measure its progress toward objectives

What Happened?

If you want to find out what the NCC did last year and whether it reached its targets, the details are in the latest annual report.
