National Capital Commission
Canada

If you live in the Capital region, have visited or even seen photographs, you may already know that this region did not happen by accident. It was planned. For more than 100 years, the Canadian federal government — under the umbrella of three distinct but similar corporations (the Ottawa Improvement Commission, the Federal District Commission and the National Capital Commission) — has been working to create a Capital that is worthy of Canada. Planning lies at the heart of that work.
