Page couverture du rapport sur le Bilan du reboisement de peupliers hybrides dans CharlevoixStudy of the potential of hybrid poplar plantations in the Charlevoix region
Evaluation report of the project "Study on the culture of fast-growing species", established in the Charlevoix region (Quebec), aimed at studying the potential of hybrid poplar plantations. Plantation analysis under this project made it possible to identify five main paramaters to be considered when establishing hybrid poplar plantations: the moisture balance, site preparation, seedling quality, depth of planting and weeding. The document was prepared by Gaétan Sirois, For. Eng. with the Charlevoix Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC), for the Canadian Forest Service.
