Waste
Combustors Conference
to Examine New Emissions Standards
New emission standards and compliance methodologies require
companies, their consultants, and regulators to re-evaluate past
practices established under the RCRA Boiler and Industrial Furnace Rules
and Interim HWC MACT standards. As a result, you don't want to miss A&WMA's
Hazardous
Waste Combustors Conference and Exhibition, which takes place March
13-14, 2007, in Charleston, SC. The conference will feature a
special emphasis on implementation of final HWC MACT standards, as well
as overlapping RCRA regulatory issues.
Deadline Approaching for Tech Award
Do you know of a company or individual that deserves recognition for
the development of new technologies in air pollution control or waste
management? If so, nominate them for the 2007 J. Deane Sensenbaugh
Environmental Technology Award, presented annually by A&WMA. The
deadline for nominations is December 15, 2006.
Recipients will be recognized at the Association’s 100th Annual
