Departmental Financial System (GFS & GFS User Friendly) Training
Training courses offered in GFS are primarily targeted at practitioners who process financial transactions. GFS User Friendly training, however, is targeted at practitioners and managers who need access to financial information, reports at the Project and RC level or to log credit card purchases, procurement documents and agreements.

e-Mentoring
e-mentoring is all about one person sharing his or her knowledge to help another, and, in so doing, enriching themselves and their Department.

Energy, Minerals and Metals Information Centre (EMMIC)
EMMIC provides access to a variety of print and electronic resources. Numerous journals are available, full-text, from the Centre's website, as well as access to eBooks through netLibrary. The catalogue includes books on career development, personal growth and management as well as mining, minerals and energy. Online databases and subject pathfinders are available for more specialized search requests.

Executive Group - Training
This area is designed as a one-stop source of information on the services and programs available to Executives at NRCan. You will find information on various topics pertaining to the Executive Group, including new initiatives, training information and many others.

Information Management - Training
Information on Docs Open an electronic document management system and the NRCan Guidelines on Managing Electronic Mail messages.

IT eLearning
Information Technology courses , 955 in English and 177 in French, are being made available to NRCan employees through the Web. This provides online IT training and learning at the employee's desktop.

Individual Learning Plan - Form
The Individual Learning Plan is a tool to help you develop or improve your competencies. Developed in partnership with your manager, it documents the learning agreement you prepare.

AETP offers high-caliber Master's degree candidates in Economics, Public Administration, or a related discipline the opportunity to work alongside Canada's top decision-makers on a number of social, economic and international policy agendas.
