Aeronautical and Technical Services Division

Located in Ottawa, Ontario, the Aeronautical and Technical Services is a division of the Geomatics Canada – Mapping Services Branch, a component of Earth Sciences Sector in the Department of Natural Resources Canada.

This Aeronautical and Technical Services (ATS) Division web site contains information on the management, quality systems, people support provided by the information technology and engineering teams, the Cartographic Imaging and Printing Services for governement-clients, and also on the History of aeronautical charting in Canada. While the Aeronautical Charting (AERO) Program web site provides information on the aeronautical charts and publications, and on the digital and custom aeronautical products.

Natural Resources Canada has a legislated mandate to promote the sustainable development of Canada's natural resources so as to meet the needs of present generations of Canadians without compromising the quality of life for future generations. As a result, the Earth Sciences Sector has put forward programs contributing to priorities issues.

The Aeronautical and Technical Services is always committed to support the Aeronautical Charting Program to strive towards impacting on the issue of Strong and Safe Communities.
