Western Churchill Metallogeny Project EXTECH IV: Athabasca Uranium Multidisciplinary Study; Insights from Integration
Charlie Jefferson: Saskatchewan Geological Survey Open House November 30 - December 2 2004
The EXTECH IV Athabasca Uranium Multidisciplinary Study is in the final stages of preparing a peer reviewed summary volume as a Sub-Project of the Western Churchill Metallogeny Project, Northern Resources Development Program. A key insight from write up and integration is the relationship among growth faults, basin development, sedimentation, hydrothermal systems and ore deposition. Multiple geophysical exploration methods detect structures and alteration assemblages that result from these processes.
