Western Churchill Metallogeny Project Framework mapping and glacial geology in the Wager Bay map sheet (NTS56G)

The presentation summarizes results of mapping in the Wager Bay area in
2004. Striations and streamlined landforms indicate a stable ice divide
in the uplands, with prolonged ice flow both to the north and to the
south of the ice divide. Preliminary results of till sampling indicate
a close relationship between till composition and adjacent rock types.
Some kimberlite pathfinder elements are present.
