Minimum Education
Standard:
A secondary school diploma or PSC approved alternatives.
Photographer
Photographers at NRCan may be required to:
- Prepare a variety
of photographic products by selecting and adapting equipment, accessories
and procedures to meet client needs
- Operate and maintain
an inventory of complex instrumentation, films, materials, and chemicals
- Consult with and
provide advice/guidance to clients to identify needs and determine methods
to best meet their needs
- Document and maintain
technical aspects of work completed; coordinate work flow with others
- Maintain an up-to-date
knowledge of new equipment and advances in photographic technology
- Develop and maintain
an automated system which serves as a photo-archive and includes technical
aspects of work.
