Notice for Window and Door Participants

Due to recent changes to the thermal standards, product models certified and tested to version 98 of the CSA A440.2 standard or version 97 of the NFRC standards will no longer be accepted for ENERGY STAR® in Canada effective January 1, 2006. In addition, all product models registered with the Canadian ENERGY STAR® Initiative prior to January 1, 2006 and tested or simulated to the above noted versions of these standards will be delisted effective January 1, 2008.

Three minor errors in the ENERGY STAR® zone boundaries in Canada have recently been corrected.

  1. Zone B boundary line in central British Columbia.
  2. Zone B boundary in northern Newfoundland.
  3. Zone C boundary in central Yukon.

There is no change to Zone A
