Viewing and Printing Instructions

How can I see these images in Stereo?

Only a few people have developed the ability to view stereo pairs without using a stereoscope. We don't recommend that you try to view the stereo models without a stereoscope (on your monitor) - in fact we have not optimized the stereo pairs for that purpose. Still, there is some benefit to looking at the pairs in 2-D. Therefore, we give you some instructions (below) for viewing the image pairs in 2-D on your monitor and in 3-D by printing the pair and then using a stereoscope.


Printing the stereo pairs:

  • Choose Print from your browser's menus or to have greater flexibility in printing, you can save each of the two images making up the stereo pair and then use another graphics viewing/editing program to enlarge and print the images. Note that better quality printer paper can produce better results.


Viewing the printed images with a stereoscope:

  • Mark the printed images as to "left" and "right" and then cut them apart.
  • Place them under a stereoscope and adjust their positions
