Canada joins Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Taiwan as international partners in the ENERGY STAR^® Program.

Products carrying the internationally-known ENERGY STAR logo have been certified to meet levels of energy efficiency that exceed this country's energy efficiency standards. The ENERGY STAR logo is most visibly on computer equipment and home electronics. ENERGY STAR in Canada will also be endorsing heating and cooling equipment, some major appliances, and exit signs.
