Labelling Information - Windows

An EnerGuide Label is currently not available for windows.

Windows (and sliding glass doors) are now included in the voluntary Canadian ENERGY STAR high efficiency initiative. To qualify, a window must meet or exceed energy efficiency levels developed for 4 different climatic zones in Canada. Qualifying windows also display a label with the ENERGY STAR symbol and indicate the climate zone(s) that they qualify for.

To participate in this initiative, application must be made to Natural Resources Canada, Office of Energy Efficiency.
