Alcatel Sunday Bikedays

Hop on your bike, lace up your inline skates, and hit the parkways — they’re closed to motor vehicles every Sunday morning from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day (May 21 to September 3, 2006). More than 50 kilometres of pure fun!

The westbound lanes, located on the south side of the Ottawa River and west of downtown, are closed from 9 am to 1 pm, from Island Park Drive to Carling Avenue.
Length: 5.5 kilometres

***In 2006, the section between the Portage Bridge and Island Park Drive will not be accessible due to road construction work in that area.***
