Gasoline/Diesel Fuel

Gasoline and other fuel prices are made up of various components including:

  • crude oil
  • transportation
  • refining
  • storage
  • marketing
  • provincial and federal taxes

Changes in any of these directly affect the price paid at the pumps. The Department of Energy is pleased to produce weekly and monthly reports on the prices of automotive fuels for you.
