The Icebreaking Fleet
CCG has a fleet of 17 icebreakers. Five are dedicated icebreakers and 12 are multi-tasked ice-strengthened vessels.
CCG Ice Operations Centres task icebreakers and guide the movement of marine traffic through ice.
