Minerals and Metals at Home! has been adapted from Ontario's Mineral Wealth, an interactive computer program produced under the Minerals Program of the Canada-Ontario Subsidiary Agreement on Northern Ontario Development (NODA).

Ontario's Mineral Wealth was developed by Mackerel Interactive Multimedia for Natural Resources Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, in cooperation with the Ontario Mining Association.
