Welcome to the Alzheimer Safely Home Registry / BC Photo Registry, a service provided by the Alzheimer Society of BC in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Important note
The BC Photo Registry is currently in a transition phase. It will take time to connect with all of BC’s municipal police and RCMP detachments and train them how to access the Registry database. Please fill out the Registration Form (see To Register link on this page) and process as directed, but note that the police/RCMP in your area may not have been trained yet. We advise you to always carry an up-to-date photograph and physical description of the registrant.

For Police Access to the database with photos and information to identify a wandering person, click here.

To register the person you are caring for with the Safely Home Registry / BC Photo Registry, you can download the registration form (PDF format). Registration forms are also available at all Alzheimer Resource Centres in BC. If you have Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia, you can register yourself with the program.
