About the Alberta Farm Safety Program
Mission
The Farm Safety Program mission is to promote agricultural safety and rural health to farm families and farm workers enabling them to make informed decisions about managing their personal risk.
Vision
Agricultural safety and rural health, a continuing process, will be an integral part of all agricultural activities.
Values
We believe:
People are the most important resource in agriculture.
Children are instrumental in effecting change.
Agricultural safety and rural health is an individual and industry responsibility.
It is important to cultivate partnerships with agricultural organizations and the private sector to develop effective injury prevention programs.
