Entrepreneurs are provided with information and tools to assist them in:



Funding application support tools

Various tools are available to assist you in preparing your application for Agency funding. These include, among other things, a complete list of the documents to be submitted with your application.

Before you submit your application, we suggest you contact an advisor at your regional business office in order to present your project. Once you have done so, you will find it much easier to complete your funding application.

Enforcement of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA)

Pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assesment Act (CEAA), Canada Economic Developement must determine, before making a decision to fund a project, whether the project in question requires an environmental assessment.




Business start-up support tools

Canada Business Service Centres (CBSC) offer a wide range of tools for businesses that are starting up.

The On-Line Small Business Workshop provides you with information about starting a new venture and protecting your idea.

The Business Start-Up Assistant provides you with all the information you need to start up a business.

The Interactive Business Plan program is designed to help you develop a business plan for the start-up of a new enterprise or a new business venture.



Exporting support tools

The ExportSource.ca Interactive Export Planner assists entrepreneurs in preparing an exporting plan for a new or growing enterprise.
