Adults

Sometimes adulthood can be challenging. Ottawa Public Health has tools to help you get through the tough times and to enjoy the good.

We can help you make healthy lifestyle choices with information on physical activity, nutrition, dental health, smoking cessation, and drug and alcohol use. We also provide helpful parenting tips. If you are thinking about starting a family, we can help you plan for that too. We offer support to adults who are caregivers as well as provide resources for when it’s you who needs care.

Ottawa Public Health works to keep you safe by preventing the spread of communicable diseases and provides plenty of information on sexual health and local health programs. We also help to reduce the number of injuries, disabilities and deaths through injury prevention and workplace health initiatives.
