With a better understanding of life threatening diseases, anyone can live a healthier, longer life. This section provides information and plenty of additional resources on diseases and medical conditions.

The consumer health libraries at The Ottawa Hospital provide patients and their families with access to reliable information on a variety of health topics, books and other resources for loan, and Internet access. One of the libraries, the Ninon Bourque Patient Resource Library, specializes in cancer information for patients and families.
