The Francophone Health Program tailors services to francophone residents of the City of Ottawa and ensures access to health promotion and prevention services and culturally adapted resources. Health information is made available to everyone through community-based activities and francophone media outlets. All Ottawa Public Health services and resources are available in French and English. In addition, the Francophone Health Program supports various partnerships with volunteers and community agencies, including an insight theatre group of volunteer seniors, Théâtre du soleil couchant, which performs skits highlighting health issues for francophone seniors throughout the city.
